Three factions in Aion

Three factions the Elyos, Asmodian and Balaur are known as the major factions in Aion. The Elyos are often considered as the “evil” faction, while both Asmodian and Balaur are referred to as good ones. They are often classified to playable factions or non-playable factions. Elyos, Asmodian are playable factions which you can choose when you are creating your characters, while the Balaur can not be selected as a playable faction. The Balaur acts as an evil NPC faction which you fight throughout the game.
