Armor Smith in Aion Online

'Armor Smith' is the skill for crafting heavy armor items, and shields.
If your class uses any of the following, then being an 'armor smith' can benefit you: * chain armor * plate armor * shield
In Aion Online, your gear quality has a big impact on how successfully you will handle combat situations. However, being an 'armor smith' is about more than just having great gear for yourself. Being an 'armor smith' in Aion Online gives you the ability to benefit your friends and entire clan with superior quality loot.. as well as straners (for Kinah profits of course!)
There are only two ways to obtain high quality gear at a high level 1. Item drops from VERY RARE and BOSS mobs 2. You can craft your gear.
Having a full set of the top quality gears in Aion Online will make a huge difference for your character in PVE (and most importantly PVP) situations.
Aether, Ore, and Kinah are going to be your most essential materials for being an Armor smith since they're often required. Crafting armor is expensive, and time consuming in Aion Online.
Player crafted gear is second only to rare boss drops, which comprises the biggest part of the gear market and overshadows crafted gear in worth at the highest levels. So it's definitely not a popular crafting skill to use to consistently make money at the higher levels.
Tip on gear valuation: Any armor with a spell effect that can 'proc' is worth much more than similar gear with no effects. Spell effects are highly prized. Armors that don't proc are usually worth less (selling value) than the money invested in their actual creation.
